After almost one and a half years of construction, the Ott paint center<\/strong> opens its new and modern paint center for large vehicles and industrial painting in \u00d6pfingen in January. The new building is 107 meters long, 52 meters wide and up to 22 meters high. The new area covers 15,000 m\u00b2. SEHON was the partner for the equipment with high-end painting systems and technology. In addition to 3 combination paint booths with drying mode in large format, SEHON also supplied the ventilation systems for the washing hall and for the preparation and finishing area. Thanks to the cogeneration system used, the CHP unit, which is tailored to paint stores, not only supplies energy for paint booths, preparation and finishing areas, but also hot water for the in-house car wash and building energy. As a result, the company achieves energy self-sufficiency of 80%, i.e. compared to before, only a maximum of 20% of the energy required needs to be purchased. The Ott paint center works closely with Liebherr. The halls of the new building were specially designed to be able to paint nine- and eight-axle cranes from the crane manufacturer. Thanks to the high ceiling height of 22 meters, cranes and their telescopic booms can also be painted here. Machine oil and grease are removed from the vehicles in the wash bay. The large vehicles are masked in the preparation hall before the painting process begins. Painting then takes place one after the other in three painting boxes and, in the final step, the vehicles are moved to the finishing area.
