Gambs in Unterschlei\u00dfheim <\/strong>offers complete body & paint solutions. Within 6 months, conversion and modernization work not only created 32 new jobs and 60 production places. At the same time, together with SEHON, the entire plant was brought up to the latest technical standard in terms of energy efficiency. The expansion made it possible to significantly simplify work processes and achieve savings in energy consumption and plant maintenance. Following the modernization, the company was able to expand to almost 200 workstations. 80 percent of the time required for painting is spent on preparation, ten percent on the actual painting and the remaining ten percent on polishing and cleaning work. This is why SEHON advises all K&L business owners: “If you want to improve or speed up work processes in your workshop, the best place to start is with paint preparation.” Accordingly, great importance was attached to the most flexible use of the paint preparation area during the redesign at Gambs. According to Tiemo Sehon, one aim was “to be able to use this area for Smart Repair painting processes as well.” The coexistence of Smart Repair and conventional paint workstations places the highest demands on the processes and structure of a repair store. Tiemo Sehon and Christian Gambs succeeded in combining the two areas in the best possible way. <\/p>\n
