SEHON customer honored for sustainability
In April 2025, Poppe GmbH was awarded the Friedrich Conrad Degener Prize by the town of Bremervörde. This award from the town of Bremervörde and the Economic Guild recognizes the forward-looking actions, innovative strength and social commitment of the family business.

In collaboration with SEHON, Poppe GmbH was able to modernize its operations and paint shops and significantly improve its environmental footprint. Today, the company consumes only a fraction of the energy it used to, which has played a key role in reducing the company’s annual CO₂ emissions by around 77 tons. After completing all the conversion and sustainability measures, Dieter Poppe praised SEHON’s fast and efficient implementation. All agreed services were fulfilled in full and to his complete satisfaction.
It was important to integrate a combined heat and power unit (CHP), which significantly reduced energy costs and made the entire operation more sustainable. By switching to monovalent operation with the CHP, the company was able to drastically reduce its heating costs and at the same time make an important contribution to climate protection.
The collaboration with SEHON made it possible to implement this energy-efficient refurbishment efficiently and smoothly – a clear advantage for the company’s competitiveness and environmental responsibility.
The decision to work with SEHON has enabled Poppe GmbH to achieve its sustainability goals quickly and effectively. Modernized paint shops, the innovative energy supply for the entire operation and the rapid implementation of the measures confirmed Dieter Poppe’s decision to work professionally with SEHON.
The commitment to greater sustainability and the award ceremony show how technological innovations and professional support can not only strengthen the company, but also the business location and make it future-proof.
SEHON warmly congratulates Dieter Poppe on winning the Bremervörde Prize and is delighted to be part of this lasting success.
