Advantages of disinfectants

Biocleen disinfectant offers a number of advantages. When disinfecting vehicles, it is very important that Biocleen does not attack or change the interior of a vehicle. Biocleen is not a hazardous substance, is not flammable and cannot explode. It contains no perfume, alcohol or other hazardous or corrosive substances. The product is also pH-neutral. These characteristics are not only important for vehicles, but also for customers and employees who work with or come into contact with Biocleen. Biocleen is biodegradable.

The active ingredient has been used successfully for many years in room, air and surface disinfection, which also includes vehicle disinfection. Other areas of application include drinking water treatment, disinfection in the food and animal feed sector, hygiene in the veterinary sector and human hygiene.

A smart disinfectant that is used wherever maximum hygiene and cleanliness are required. It is bactericidal (kills bacteria, germs), virucidal (kills viruses) and fungicidal (kills fungi and their spores) within one minute. Microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses and fungi are reduced by 99.9 %. This also includes corona viruses. This is because Biocleen has a non-specific effect (i.e. not just on certain microorganisms, but on all of them).

Disinfect vehicles professionally

The Biocleen concept relies on disinfection via vehicle fogging. This is because disinfecting vehicles by hand with a spray bottle and cloth is very expensive and imprecise. Expensive because manual disinfection is very time-consuming and therefore labor-intensive.

The second disadvantage of manual disinfection is that disinfection is far too imprecise. Disinfection with a spray bottle and cloth may be sufficient for your own desk, but in a vehicle interior only a fraction of the surfaces to be disinfected can be reached by hand. A person cannot reach all areas of a vehicle or may even leave out part of the vehicle cabin due to ignorance, convenience or lack of time.

Biocleen relies on nebulization. During nebulization, a nebulizer is hung in the vehicle interior. This nebulizer converts the disinfectant into a micro-fine mist that fills the entire vehicle interior. The disinfectant mist settles everywhere in the vehicle and thus disinfects the entire vehicle cabin. The fogging is fully automatic and of the best possible quality, which cannot even be achieved by manual disinfection.

Technical requirements

For automatic, room-filling and area-wide vehicle disinfection with Biocleen, the customer requires an air compressor for the fogging device, a fogging device and the Biocleen disinfectant. The fogging devices Foggy One with 1-liter tank and Foggy Five with 5-liter tank have been specially developed for room and vehicle disinfection. The 1-liter Foggy is used for smaller vehicle cabins (cars, driver’s cabins), while the 5-liter Foggy, which is available with one or two fogging nozzles, is recommended for larger rooms such as buses, motorhomes and trailers. The compressor used must be adjustable to 2.5 to 3.0 bar. A mobile compressor from Biocleen can be supplied as an option.

Vehicle disinfection in practice

Smart Biocleen vehicle disinfection – using cars as an example – is very simple. The compressor is connected to the fogging device Foggy One. The fogging device is then hung in the vehicle interior. The compressor is switched on and the automatic complete fogging of the vehicle starts. Within 3 to 5 minutes, the vehicle cabin is filled with a strong, micro-fine disinfectant mist. The fog is then left to rest for approx. 3 minutes. During this time, the mist settles throughout the vehicle and the vehicle is disinfected. After disinfection, all doors are opened and the interior is briefly ventilated. Depending on the size of the vehicle, everything is done in 7 to 10 minutes. The vehicle can be used again immediately by your own staff or the customer.

No special protective measures are required for disinfection with Biocleen, such as wearing a protective suit or mask. Of course, neither a customer nor your own staff should be in the vehicle interior during the nebulization disinfection.

Odor elimination

Biocleen is also used for odor removal. Even the most intense odors can be removed quickly and easily with the concentrate (cigarettes, urine, meat, decay). The user needs a little experience to remove intense odors, but even the most difficult odors can be removed very easily with multiple treatments if necessary.

Odor removal and disinfection with the Biocleen method is very inexpensive, effective and, above all, fast. Compared to conventional ozone treatment, which usually takes many hours, the Biocleen method only takes a fraction of the time otherwise required. It should not be underestimated that scientific studies and lung doctors classify odor removal with ozone generators as very critical and in some cases hazardous to health.
